Taking care of people and businesses by taking care of their insurance and surety needs is a vital service in our communities here in the Inland Northwest. It’s also a challenging, service-oriented and always-changing field. We like it. And if you take a look at our professional staff, we like it for the long haul — our people tend to stay and grow and serve with us for years. Don't take it from us though...here's what a few colleagues have to say about working at PFG...
There are a number of things that I like about working for PFG, one of which is the fact that our company lives our mission statement: Clients, Colleagues, Communities. Some companies say they have a mission statement, but they do not live it, we do each day. Even though we are a large company with offices in several states, we have the feeling that we are family. I feel appreciated for what I bring to the table and this gives me a sense of purpose. We are also very fortunate as PFG management believes education is crucial to our success. They offer us many in-house opportunities and support many external educational opportunities that increase our knowledge in the insurance industry as well as various soft skills.
~ Sherri Paulson, Client Account Manager, Great Falls
Working at PFG isn't just about going to a job every day, it's about belonging to a company where people take care of each other. I feel lucky to spend my days with such a wonderful group of people. PFG truly is my home away from home.
~ Christa Gardner, Client Account Manager, Billings
The colleagues at PFG are some of the most amazing and talented people. They really know how to come together in times of good or bad. There are so many inspirational people that I work with and every day I am learning from them. I am very grateful to have this opportunity.
~ Karla McHugh, Service Account Manager, Butte
It is always a hard decision to change jobs, but joining the PFG team was the best decision I could have ever made. From day one, I felt welcomed and included. My managers were sure to give me all the necessary tools to integrate into my new position. It is such a great feeling to actually be told you are doing a good job. The PFG management team always makes sure to let you know that they really appreciate what you do for the organization - I really look forward to and enjoy coming to work every day!
~ Debbie Tona, Personal Lines Sales Executive, Boise
There are many reasons that I enjoy working for Payne Financial Group, here are just a few:
1. The PFG organization from top to bottom is completely committed to whatever is best for the client. Outside pressure is not allowed to dictate or influence what is best for the client. That is rare in this world! I believe this philosophy and attitude will continue to be the key to PFG's success.
2. As a PFG employee I live and work in my local community, and I am proud to work for an organization that encourages and expects all employees to selflessly serve and give back to that very community that provides our livelihood.
3. At PFG we are family, we work hard together, we laugh together, and sometimes cry together. I respect and care about the quality people that I am able to share this time. Life is too short, to do otherwise.
~ Shaun Peterson, Commercial Lines Sales Executive, Helena
Two years ago the company I worked for merged with Payne Financial Group and I can say it has been Challenging and Rewarding! PFG has provided me with a comfortable and efficient work environment plus all kinds of tools for professional and personal growth and community involvement. I ,hopefully, will finish out my career with PFG, and I feel at home where we are always developing, changing and growing. I have wonderful Colleagues whom I admire for their skills and perspectives. "It just can't get any better!"
~ Judy "Jake" Kaiser-Smith, Surety Account Manager, Spokane
In my almost 7 years with PFG, I am still amazed at the talent of our colleagues and the professionalism that they bring to our clients. We are so far above our competition in this area. The teamwork and help that we give one another in our offices truly make us look like we operate in just one location. I have found nobody unwilling to give advice or assistance when a fellow colleague is in need. This is a tough business, but with the backup we give each other you do not feel alone in the challenges we face daily.
~ Jim Watson, Commercial Sales Executive, Billings
