Commercial Lines Underwriting Technician
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- - Determine acceptability of new business, rate and issue policies in accordance with
- carrier and agency guidelines
- - Enters applicable rating information into the automated processing systems, quotes new
- business as directed.
- - Document files in accordance with agency guidelines
- - Develop a profitable and equitable book of business with authorized carriers
- - Processes policy changes on accounts as carriers request
- - Demonstrates positive customer service skills
Education/Experience Requirements:
- - Above average computer knowledge and skills
- - Possesses College Degree or equivalent business or insurance experience
- - Have or obtain Property Casualty Insurance License
- - One or more years insurance or business related experience
